- Ian L. Clarke has been practicing in Naples, Fort Myers, Tampa and Southwest Florida since
2005. Early on, he practiced construction and real estate law and later he practiced criminal
and general civil litigation. For the past 3 years he has associated with John O. McGowan and
specializes in criminal, general civil and dependency law. He is also certified by the Supreme
Court of Florida as a County Mediator. Additionally, Mr. Clarke is also a member of the
Florida Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
PERSONAL SUMMARY
- Mr. Clarke graduated Stetson University College of Law where we held the office of Student Bar Association
President, was a member of Stetson' Award winning Client Counseling and Negotiation teams, and
won the Anthony Battaglia Excellance in Leadership Award. He attended George Mason University
in Fairfax Virginia receiving degrees in both English and Communication.
Before Law school he worked on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Correspondant for then Senator Fred Thompson and on the House Subcommittee for Commercial and Administartive Law.
